The weight of your words

The man who is in authority feels that the law is his tool. That his privilege position has placed him above all and that the judgment is a resource that is available to measure, analyze, reward or condemn others.
The subject in eminence, whether man or woman, feels untouchable, irreproachable, above good and evil. But this position is extremely misleading.
Millions of examples come to my head:
Armstrong pedaling on the glory of doping.
Hitler exercising his illusory and despicable racial supremacy.

And the list is endless but I want to add a name that it could sound counterproductive because that name is a symbol of virtue, divine anointing and justice.
I mean King David. A biblical character of humble origin; A Hebrew shepherd who was chosen by Jehovah, to become leader and king of the people of Israel.
The Bible narrates with care, the virtues and exploits of this character. His ability to fight beasts, men or giants and get airy.

But in the background there are some bad actions or mistakes made perhaps because of his human weakness and even so with premeditated evil.
Many victories and women, crowned the life of King David.Among those victories stand out;The way he faced and defeated the giant Goliath, many other times when in numerical inferiority, he defeated his enemies and even some of his own who rose against him.
Among their women, they stand out;Mical, Abigail and Betsabé.The three were married before he took them.
Mical was promised to a Hebrew general when David married her;Abigail was a wife of a rich merchant, opposite to David, and who had also refused to collaborate with David when he fled King Saul. But Betsabé was the drop that spilled the anointing oil.Betsabé was a wife of Urias, one of the brave King's army. She was young and beautiful, David saw her, covered her and took her, leaving her pregnant.

The scandal of such an event was about to explode. The king did everything for Urias to return from the battle front and sleep with Betsabé, to be able to hide his decease but Urías never did it so.
David solved it easy;He ordered one of his generals, to leave Urias at the hands of his enemies, and thus the good soldier died.
David married Betsabé and everything resolved. At least he thought so.

But how do you tell the powerful, who is working badly, without losing your life?
How do you explain to the owner of the truth that what he says is a lie?
Many warned Armstrong, but he thought it would never be discovered.
All who opposed the Fürer, ended up in concentration fiekds or dead.
How to tell the great king, the anointed of God, the sweet singer of Israel, that he was an evil and ruin man?

The prophet Nathan arrives where the monarch and tells him that a rich man, owner of many sheeps, a visit came to him and he did not want to sacrifice any of his assets, so he snatched his neighbor, the only sheep he had; A sheep that slept with his children and ate on their own dish.
The rich one, Nathan said, killed the poor people's sheep and feed it to his guests.
King David exploded in anger and determined: that man is worthy of death.
Natan looked for him safely and said:
That man is you, oh great king.
Let's look up with intelligence and seek ways to place the bad rulers under their own judgment. It will not be easy but, let's learn from Nathan.

I remember the stories of king David it was the anointing at first that touched him and also he was blinded by the things of life which led him to mislead sometimes authority are not meant for all there is a saying with authority comes with great power but authority should be given to those who have clean conscience no attachment to life and whatsoever am just saying my opinion

The power corrupts everything that touches, my friend, so you have to look at it and use it from a perspective of self -criticism and service.David did it well until he felt above all. However, I do not judge it, it would have happened to us the same, at least to me, because wanting to do good is in us but not doing so.Thanks for reading and commenting.I care about your opinion.Hugs.

A David le costó moldear su corazón y Dios le puso las manos alfareras más insospechadas siempre

El David joven tenía el corazón lleno de cielo pero los años y el poder quebraron el vaso y derramaron la gracia.
