Introduction to Hive

Hello, everyone. I'm Dan. I'm 32, and I'm from Venezuela. I created this account a couple years ago, but never really used it so now I want to start. I know quite a bit about Hive, although I feel I need to learn more. I enjoy writing in a reflective conversational style, so I believe this would be a good community for me to start out.

I'm an English teacher, but right now I'm not practicing. I've honestly have some bad experiences in my profession recently working for some institutions. I can say that I really felt great working for my own alma mater shortly after graduating, even when it was the worst economic times in my country, but sadly I had to leave due to it not being viable for me anymore, and each job I had afterwards was awful.

I'm also a musical type of person. I studied music for a while when I was little and even learned how to play the piano at an intermediate level. I played the drums in a band my friends and I had. I received lots of compliments and admiration for my musical execution, but I guess I really never considered that path as a way to earn a living.

I'm not going to tell you how I'm like. You'll just find out. One thing I've noticed is that people I meet quickly claim to "know me," which probably means I'm easy to get to know. I don't know if that's good or bad, but that's how it is.

Despite my current state, I believe Jesus is the Lord, and so my comments will probably have a lot of influence from the Christian perspective. I'm a relatively new believer, though, which means I also have secular influence, but I know it's just not convenient for me.

I hope to know more about Hive, post and read quality content, earn some income, and have fun.
