Hi! It has been a while.
I moved homes again after about 3 months and was pretty preoccupied with adjusting. It becomes challenging when you’re moving in with an old person (my grandmother) who is set in her ways and comments on practically everything that you do. Hahaha. But all is good now as I try to do what she tells me to do but the only thing she can’t do anything about is me staying up until 3am and waking up at 9am then sleeping through the afternoon.

Usually, I don’t sleep for more than 8 hours. The most hours that I get to sleep is 5 or 6. But right now my brain’s lagging too much and I feel dreadfully lazy it scares me. I don’t know if it is because I feel undersimulated since I don’t have a lot of work nor any pressure from my current work. It’s pretty unhealthy when all I feel like doing is watch mind-numbing reaction videos in Youtube. Even movies don’t interest me anymore and I’m a big movie buff so it’s pretty scary. I honestly don’t know what’s going on.
So now I try to find things that hopefully I’d stick around doing like learning a new language. I’m currently working for an Indonesian- based organization and though I write in English, I hope to understand the language for more content contextualization. Setting off with Indonesian songs and movies would be good but I also try to find learning materials in the internet especially for learning grammar.

Change is always hard, but the important thing is to know that it is for the better; When you adapt, it is good to achieve other objectives to keep your mind busy.
I love watching movies like you; I take time to look for something interesting, and I make a list, sometimes that list extends or shortens (depending on the quality) and gives me the chance to see one when I need to be distracted.
I think it is not good to watch videos on YouTube just for the sake of watching them, the platform's algorithm leads you to addiction.
Greetings.
I just moved too and has been re-adjusting my life. I think learning indonesian would have helped with some movies and youtube shows. Indonesian grammar isn't that difficult, though I am not sure what's your first language but overall, the language itself is pretty easy to learn. I always tell people to remember & learn vocabulary and the grammar later. Seeing people talk also the best way to do them because I find indonesian has a lot of reading in between the lines as well as being a little too contextual. Anyway, good luck on everything!
