I just close my eyes and I am transported there, where in the sky the wake of the flag and freedom is pronounced, a magical world that in my most precious dreams is created, without fear, without suspicion, without pain, without blood...
Only there, in an infinite and ineffable plenitude, in a state of relaxation and tranquility, where eating bread is not only a privilege of a few, where truth reigns and health prevails, where we can take care of each other, where talking about what you are and what you want is not bad, where being a true Venezuelan is good and not unreal.
It is there, in my most precious dream, that I visualize a united country, where differences fade away in the common search for something better. A place where diversity is celebrated and I imagine streets full of life, where laughter and music are the common thread that unites us and strengthens us more than ever. A country where young people have opportunities and the elderly are valued, where children are cared for above all else and adults have their desired stability and, above all things, health is a fundamental right.
It is in this dream where hope blossoms like a flower in the great foliage of Venezuela. A dream that drives us to work together, to overcome obstacles and to build a country where we can all live in peace and harmony. A dream that reminds us that, although the challenges are big, the Venezuelan spirit is even bigger. Because if you want, you can and, how we venezuelans say: pa´ lante es pa alla.
