"Be afraid of the ram, be afraid of the shit, and when will I live?"
Meša Selimović

A quote from a great writer, an academic, that I often mention when we talk about fears.
Fear can be a trigger for finding various possibilities, the adrenaline it creates for us can speed us up even more, but fear is often a stumbling block and we need to get rid of it in order to do what we love in life.

Are you afraid of airplanes and flying? Fuck it, you'll never visit world-famous destinations. Are you afraid of bugs? You will never be relaxed in nature. Are you afraid that a flower pot will fall on your head from someone's balcony? You will never leave your home. Are you afraid of failure? You will never try...

Sort:

Fear motivates and demotes I guess, depending on the person; I guess that's what my posts sort of suggests; that fear doesn't have to be a negative thing all the time.

Don't get me wrong 🙂 here I am not referring to real fears, someone who lives in nature, someone who is a soldier, someone who pilots an airplane or steers a ship, someone who is a responsible contractor... these people face fears that force them to be stronger, faster, better, more careful, to check every next step. I was thinking here of unfounded and banal fears, which are born in the minds of certain people every day... (fear of a bug is the most obvious example, if it is not some bug in the jungle, whose bite can kill a person 😀).
