Often. It happens to me that sometimes I get entangled with a problem so much that it seems to me that "there is no light at the end of the tunnel". I then log out of the computer, if I'm doing something with a tool, I take it apart, if I'm doing some physically demanding work, I take a shower, change my clothes...
So I drink coffee, eat some sweets, get a little sleepy and take a short nap (depending on where I am and what I'm doing), then after restarting I take on the same challenge again. And mostly I solve it.

That detachment makes you more effective; when writing this post I thought I'd you and expected that you'd have some sort of method to find a greater level of focus and effectiveness. It's an important part of life and should be for everyone.
