How Do Distractions Steal You and Drain Your Thinking?

I have read a lot about brain fog or thinking and I felt that I suffer from this a lot, as sometimes I find that my mind has stopped thinking, I cannot collect or analyze information, I cannot even remember events. This state of temporary memory loss is not due to an organic cause or due to a problem that needs treatment, but rather it is a state of distraction, which I will mention in this post its causes and, as usual, how I try to treat myself from it.

In the beginning, the fog that prevents your mind from thinking is nothing but the many distractions around you, as we have become in the age of technology, where you find in front of you the TV, phone, laptop and many devices that work at the same time. If your mind is not of the multi-tasking type, it will suffer a lot with this.

Not only that, but even the lights that fill the places and the noise around you from the sounds of cars or talking loudly or the many movements of people around you in the street are among the things that make your mind stop thinking for a moment.

With all these distractions around you, your mind will try to process all these things at once, as it meets them at once in the involuntary memory because you are certainly not concerned with all of this at the same time, so it will fail and will try again over and over again until it gets tired. Here, I think that the matter is similar to muscle failure, as your mind will not be able to analyze or extract more information for you. In the meantime, if you want to write a post, for example, you will find it extremely difficult to retrieve information, as well as to be creative.

The matter is very difficult, although it is an exceptional case, but in reality, and this is the reason that made me think about this matter and try to treat it, that you find yourself wasting time to no avail, as you sit, for example, in front of the computer without accomplishing anything worth mentioning, or you sit to study and do not get anything, so you are suffering from temporary mental fatigue that makes you in a state similar to paralysis.

The Solution

I thought about solving this problem at first through stimulants such as coffee and others or even some vitamins, but I wanted to get a radical solution to try, so I started searching the Internet and found dozens of solutions that you can do to get rid of this mental fatigue, but I found that one solution is the best for me, which is to start your tasks immediately after waking up from sleep away from the phone and away from any distractions, and it worked for me greatly. This solution lies in the fact that your mind gets what happens to the computer when it is turned off, as it automatically gets rid of all the caches stored on it, and this is what your mind does as well, it gets rid of all the distractions during sleep and you wake up to find that you have a big refresh and a mind without fog.
