“Will I die, and if I do, where will I go”? A question I always ask myself most times when I start feeling unwell because of sickness.
My grandpa will always say to me, I will not always be here with you, all my words, you must remember to put in the work, be kind, be generous, always keep to your words, don't forget to show love in difficult moments.
I remember asking him where he was going and he would always say, I day I will die.
I told him that I will die with him thinking that death was a kind of vacation and you can always come with your loved once, but grandfather said, Josh, son, it not yet your time, we can never go the same time, when my time comes I will go and when yours come at old age you will then die.
I asked what is death, and he said, when my body stops working, when I can not be able to eat food again, when I can't go to bank to get some money for your Christmas gift, that's when you can say that grandpa is dead, it like taking the battery of my car and the engine, the car will not work again without those two.
I was trying to process the information when he said that his soul will come out of his body to be with his creator. I was about to ask another question when. My mother called.
When I got much older I started reflecting on his words which led to my little research, “where do the souls go to after death”.
My little finds
