Proof of nutbaggery

If you're human you've been a nutbag at some point; there's no point denying it and if you do the only person believing your lies would be yourself. Humans are fallible, flawed and imperfect and so humans do dumb things, behave badly, selfishly, say dumb shit and...well, I guess they're nutbags. Fortunately, we're not nutbags all the time...ok, some probably are, but most of us are not.

What makes a nutbag is something each of us decides for ourselves and often it's through our perception of others and opinions, rather than based on cold hard facts. That's ok too, we're all free to think however we please.

I've been a nutbag, still am, and will be in the future as well. I'll own it because that's who I am as a person - someone who takes ownership.

I've done and said many dumb things in my time and looking back often wonder how I've lived to tell the stories, or how I've managed to live with the embarrassment or shame I've caused myself but it's part of life I guess and others have been through the same things.

Below are a few posts I've done in the past and a read of each will confirm my nutbag status for sure:

Roller skate contest

The testicle incident

Pine cone war

Pegasus bike

The sneeze

Crossbow

Those events are all from my youth and while it would be nice to say my nutbaggery was confined to those early years I cannot truthfully say it, much nutbaggery has ensued through my adulthood as well, like with all of us. It's all part of being human I guess and what matters the most is what we learn along the way through those events or behaviours, the things we say and do that we, or others, perceive as nutbaggery; being our true selves and owning it seems like the right thing to do.

I don't know if any of you will bother reading those (sadly) very true stories above in the links and that's your choice. Either way you might like to share some of your own nutbaggery in the comments below and if so then please feel free to do so...or even tell some lies about how you're not really a nutbag...(we know you are though.)

So I have run the gambit of nutbaggery. I have been the drunk nutbag trying to pull off Jackass type stunts when I was a young hard charger. Then there is the nutbaggery of a couple years ago when I kind of went off the deep end mentally and lost my shit. I was a complete asshole to everyone and lost a lot of friends and pissed off family.

There has been nutbaggery in between, but I am human, but try to be the best non-nutbag human I can be.

One needs to own one's own nutbaggery and that you clearly do speaks highly of your character. Keep being human, it suits you.

I think the human part could be questioned occasionally. My wife on rare instances thinks she married an alien. LOL

Haha, well that could be the case and it's not a bad thing...at least you could go back to your home planet to get away from all the nutbaggery that's going on at the moment.

That's for f-ing sure.

Remember that, getting angry at a nutbag can make you also a nutbag.

I'm ok with being a nutbag, I make a good one so might as well huh? 😁

I think it's funny how girls don't understand the delayed reaction of getting hit in the nuts. It's that slow stomach churning pain that kind of creeps up on you that really makes it memorable. I still remember getting hit square in the crotch during a snowball fight when I was younger.

It's definitely not a nice feeling and one I'd not recommend to anyone. Lol.

A snowball in the gonads huh? Top shot! Ok, you probably didn't think so at the time.

No, I just remember dropping to the ground. It was winter, but I was wearing shorts because we were lifting in the weight room. It was brutal. They guy that threw it felt horrible.

It's never a nice feeling.

I'm only glad all my nutbag days were spent before everyone had a camera and social media at their fingertips...

Haha yeah, that's a point.

The truth is that the second experience was dangerous, as well as painful, the sad crossbow but with apprenticeship, well in that sense all of them, but the pineapple war seemed fun at the beginning, unless one fell for example in an eye or something like that.
My bike never flew like a pegasus like ET hahaha because I got my first bike at 18 years old, my mother and grandmother thought it was dangerous... anyway hahaha

I learned as a grown up and crashed into every possible wall hahaha

Crazy crazy things .... when I was a child I didn't know how to swim, now little... and wanting to imitate others I jumped into a shallow pool, my head hit the bottom and I was in a state for a few seconds like fainted, luckily I reacted...

Another... my city where I was born doesn't have a sea but a crab pond, the land is like mud and I wanted to walk on it, the problem is that I started to sink and the crabs started to bite my feet, I couldn't get out! they had to help me hahaha

By the way I am very crazy and I do not deny it, I love it!

Pineapple war?

Anyway, it seems you did some nutbaggery as a kid too...that crab thing could have gone badly, you're lucky you still have legs!

Pine cone war I think I mistranslated....

Luckily they were small crabs and I thought I could bring some home, .... I didn't know they wouldn't live. 😌

Lost in time memories of nutbaggery for sure, plenty misadventures in our youth, we lucky to have lived to tell the tale.

You remind me of my brother trying to scale split pole fence, dangling up there impaled on his testes at public swimming pool. Picky-back down the hill home, phoned my level headed Dad who said bring him to the station (another picky-back down to station) to meet the train. Dad took him straight to hospital five stations further down the line for stitches. Long and the short of it he has a son and daughter, he survived. Enjoyed going back to your story, could not help but smile...

We carry the scars with pride, learning you cannot always avoid some shit we got up to it was a good time. A lot carries on into adulthood when many try hide it under the rug, Oh it's here there and everywhere, champs at getting things wrong and right sometimes.

It sounds like your brother had quite an adventure butvliv r to tell the tale. I'm glad I had the youth I did and wouldn't change it, even the dumb things I did sometimes. It was wholesome and fun mostly, and I learned a lot. I think the kids these days don't have the same opportunities, or choose not to have them.

Some escapades we did thinking back were downright dangerous, as you said would not change a thing, too much fun to be had along with scars a scrapes.

I don't think any sane person will deny that he/she has been a nut bag before. We are better off today through the process of learning.

Yes, pretty much what I said.
