The end of this year is approaching, the end of each year is assumed by some as the end of a cycle and the beginning of another, as the end of a new season, a new career, a new opportunity to do things better or simply as the beginning of a new journey of the earth around the sun that will end 365 days later.
Many will take paper and pencil, agendas or computers to rewrite goals, objectives and projects for this new year, new or recycled objectives and goals; for many it is a reason for joy, but many are frustrated for not achieving what was planned the previous year, and we prepare for a new cycle without understanding that all the time we were doing it wrong.
This year that is ending I read somewhere, that if you do not make changes to your life, if you do not change your way of doing things you will only have one more year, but you will not have a new year, it will only be one more cycle, but never a new cycle.
So, I think it should be a time for reflection, the world is undoubtedly changing rapidly, Artificial Intelligence is taking more and more prominence in our lives, in everyday life, social networks have become the vehicle par excellence for real-time news, cryptocurrencies continue their upward boom and remote jobs are the order of the day.
It seems that online job opportunities have multiplied exponentially; the assertion and prediction of experts regarding the advancement of technology during and after the pandemic is materializing right now, it is something incredible and sometimes difficult to digest, to assimilate and much less to keep up with so much innovation.
The message seems to be clear, either we adapt or we will not survive all this accelerated progress; as I said before, we have been doing things wrong and here is my final advice:
Jesus, conversing with a woman told her: the hour is coming, and now is when the true worshipers will worship the father in spirit and in truth, that conversation changed that woman's life forever.
He said to his disciples: my peace I leave with you, peace I give to you, I do not give it as the world gives it; and to Nicodemus he said: you must be born again.
We are constantly looking for satisfaction in material things, we strive to fulfill traditions, and all these things make us anxious, for new clothes, to be well seen by others, to try to fit into some group or social stratum and we end up living unhappy lives trying to show the world a forced personality and in the end we reap frustration.
The time has come to change all this, the time has come for the true worshipers, to focus on Jesus, to live lives that please him and no longer seek to please people, do not keep looking for peace and satisfaction in material things, no longer worry about things that have no meaning and that will not give you what only he can give you, it is time to do things in a different way, to understand that only if we are born again we will have a new year, if there is a renewal of mind and spirit.
This 2025 give Jesus the opportunity to change your life, to change your environment, to manage your plans, surrender to Him and open the doors of your heart and your home, give Him the helm of your life and I guarantee that December 2025 will be a different end of the year.
