Everyone has their own time

Hi Hive Lovers

These two cherries ripen differently; one is red and almost ready to be harvested, while the other is still greenish yellow. Even though both come from flowers that bloom at the same time.

Soon I will harvest the red fruit, and the greenish yellow fruit will soon be red too. They mature at different times, even though they grow in size at the same time. It's just a matter of time.

It's the same as our lives. Everyone has different periods of success. Time for each person is always different and will never be the same.

Your neighbors, your colleagues, your school friends, or even your younger classmates—maybe right now they "seem" more advanced or more successful than you. and some others currently "seem" behind or far behind you.

If you are currently not successful, don't curse yourself, don't be jealous of those who look more successful than you, or insult the self-esteem of those who don't seem to be successful compared to you.

Like the two former presidents of the United States, Barack Obama and Donald Trump. Obama retired as president at the age of 55, and his successor, Trump, only became president when he was 70 years old.

So, never ever compare your life with other people's lives. Life is not a competition; it is a struggle. Everyone fights in their own race; everyone has their own path, and it happens in their own time.

Be grateful for what you have achieved now. Stay consistent with your goals, keep learning, and improve your quality from time to time. Keep living your life and just doing the best you can.

Like every cherry, it will ripen in time. Likewise, with you, each of you will be successful in your own time. You just need to try hard and never give up. You just need to wait for your own time.

About Me

Nice metaphor. In your lifetime, you have multiple different prime times. When you are very young, you can learn quickly, but you don't have that much knowledge. When you get older, it is harder to learn, but you have much more knowledge. So, it is an art to stay in tune with your personal advantages and the possibilities of every age. The mindset of comparing or even competing with others can help you achieve the best for yourself, but it can also blur your individual pace, as you rightly pointed out.

I think it is also beneficial to be aware that most of the time, there is not just one winner and one loser, but rather the achievement of one person enables another person to achieve something great as well. This is obvious in science, as we stand on the shoulders of giants, but it is also true for almost all aspects of life. You rarely compete one-on-one in real life. Maybe for a specific job or title, it is true, but most of the time, you are building things where others can benefit in some way, like writing a comment that might inspire others.
