There goes the Popular saying that Life is not a bed of roses. Yes indeed. There has been various illustrations all in the attempt to describe life. Another illustration will not be out of place. This is the Motivation for this post.
COLORS OF THE TRAFFIC LIGHT AND MEANING
The lights include the Red, Yellow and Green respectively. When the signal turns red, you must stop, when it turns yellow, slow down and wait, and when it turns green, go.
Traffic Lights also known as robots are electronic signaling devices specifically made and positioned at strategic locations for various categories of road users in order to control the flow of traffic.
The method was first introduced in December 1868 on Parliament Square in London to reduce the need for police officers to control traffic. Since then, electricity and computerized control has advanced traffic light technology and increased intersection capacity.
HOW DOES THE OPERATION OF A LIFELESS MACHINE AFFECT OR SERVE AS A LESSON HUMANS
The Red Light (Stop).
In life, whether by our own wish or nature's cause, we must come to a stop. For whatever has a beginning has an end. The red on the traffic light doesn't symbolize a complete stop. It is just a pause to enable catch our breath as we live our lives. While living we make several plans, we pursue a lot of projects and many times we stop to reflect on our endeavors. So, if you do not practice and master the art of stopping for reflection and redirection during the course of lives, it is time you consider to. One important advantage of stopping is that you gain experience from your endeavors thus far. It helps you see your end goal. But if you proceed to conclusions, you may be negatively affected by unforeseen hurdles.
Yellow Light (Get ready to Move)
The yellow is very symbolic for putting road users on notice that the journey continues. For those who stop at a point in life and forget themselves need to learn from the traffic light. Yellow reminds us to get ready to pick up from where we stopped. It is in this period you decide the best approach to adopt whether to continue at a high, moderate or full speed.
Green Light (Go)
In life, we are expected to always be on the go. There is no gain waiting, doing nothing. The only gain is to relax, refresh, and continue. The moment it is a green, we can see road users kicking up to continue from where they stopped.
LESSON
In Life there is no hurry, so you must stop once in a while. Life has a way of making us stop intentionally or unintentionally. In your endeavors, go on leave, take a break, go on vacation and refresh yourself. When you round up your vacation or whatever, strategize your coming back. Plan your mood, make corrections, adjust your strategies and approach, and then you move on. You continue from where you stopped. This is a principle of life. Let us learn from the traffic light and enjoy a steady and progressive life and career.
You make some nice points in here brother. I like it a lot. Yes, there are times were we must stop, but never forever.
Exactly. We need breaks at intervals to reset our maps, retrace our steps, recover, refresh our minds for a better and smoother movement. It is just like stopping to refuel or service your vehicle.

Thank you for an important reminder. I like your sentence "(to) master the art of stopping for reflection and redirection..". I think this is highly underestimated. Maybe because it is so challenging to react to the red lights in time? It seems that for many of us it is easier to keep ignoring them and I think maybe we often fill the red colour with the association of failure instead of the association of self care? However, to catch our breath is essential, and I will heighten my awareness of the red lights.
Exactly. Self check. There is no amount of self check that would be a waste. And in order for us to have a smooth and progress journey we must stop by and check.
Yes. Necessary for our daily living.
