They say that one morning, a massive boulder appeared on the main road of the village of Macabí, blocking the path of travelers. Many curious onlookers and speculators gathered in awe, offering the wildest theories. As days passed, the need to cross the road grew, and solutions poured in to overcome the great obstacle. Some chose to go around it, though it made the journey longer. Others attempted to climb over it—a difficult task requiring full concentration—and there were those who, determined to remove it, tried every possible way to uproot and move it, hoping to become the village’s true heroes. Many efforts were made, but all in vain. Days turned into weeks, and weeks into months—until Carlos appeared.
Carlos was a scrawny boy, mocked by everyone for being painfully thin. Yet, he "enlightened" the people of Macabí with the simplest solution: build a bridge over the great boulder. That way, they could reach the other side while admiring the view along the way.
In life, we face many obstacles. There will always be those who discourage us, but also those who support us. Some will choose to ignore them, others to avoid them, and the bravest will adapt to the changes they bring.
If you’ve made it this far, I hope you’re among the brave. Don’t be afraid—take the risk and fight for what you want, even if there are giant boulders in your path.
