This Sunday is celebrated Mother's Day in my country every year we usually take a gift to my mom and share with family this year was different I have already told you that my mom has health problems and this particular day was woke up pretty bad well actually the whole weekend was complicated was not for celebrations felt strange not to be with family lunching and delivering gifts.

For many it is a commercial day and it is true that in the past it was a big event the gift for my mother could not be missed but this year it was just a normal day there were no gifts or cake, I did not go to the hairdresser to look good in the pictures for my mind.

A normal day

At home my brother and I were attending to my mother for the first time I do not celebrate this day as a holiday however I feel happy because I gave my mother on this day my best gift that a son can do and that is to give her attention and time.

What does it matter

I don't know about anything material what matters perfumes, clothes, Food and don't get me wrong I like to celebrate any special moment saying it is commercial is an excuse of people who don't invest in happiness there is nothing wrong with that everyone has their own thoughts and lifestyle.

I think that the concept of what Mother's Day is has changed, at least for me. What's the point of bringing gifts on Mother's Day if the rest of the year you don't care about her, you don't visit her, you don't spend time with her? Or you arrive and leave quickly because you have to attend to other commitments?

It is only one day

Mother's Day is just another day in the calendar, what is really valuable is the time you dedicate to your loved ones. Today I did not celebrate this special day in a traditional way, but I feel an internal satisfaction, I really did not miss anything.

Nothing better than sleeping with a clear conscience that what you did was the right thing to do, better times will come.
