The tiny spots of rain on my phone are glowing green blue and red, I wish I could take a photo of it!
This is one of the many completely psychedelic experience that are easy to overlook in a day. Light reflecting off tony waves in a river, or the way sound reflects in certain environments.
I remember when I lived near the sea and could hear the horn of a massive ship a few times a month. The birds would always be singing outside and there was always some kind of construction going on in the distance, and the laughing and shouting of tourists outside.
Imagine waking up late on a Saturday and not having a clear head and hearing these sounds without assigning any meaning to them.
Does it bring you back to your childhood too?
Recently I’ve been reading up a little on Schumann Resonances and other aspects of Earth’s electromagnetism. Some of what I read is completely scientific and some is more theoretical.
But it’s said that the earth emits waves consistently that match the waves of our different kinds of human brainwaves. Some people believe that the frequencies and resonances of the Schumann waves match the frequencies that are said to be emitted by chakras in Vedic thought.
I’m not an expert on either but I’ve always treated chakras as a brilliant way of understanding balance in the body and its parallels to Maslow’s hierarchy of needs.
I don’t know how much is verified or verifiable when it comes to theories about the connection between the earth and our consciousness, but this idea makes total sense to me.
Resonance is a real thing, just try playing a harmonic on guitar or playing with tuning forks. Anyone who pays attention to and experiments with their own consciousness knows that they aren’t always experiencing life the same way. Science has Alpha and Theta and Beta waves to explain this, but if you can induce yourself into a different kind of wave, what is that?
I can tell you that my consciousness can completely change when music is turned on or when the song changes. some songs can create a sense of peace and oneness of all things, while others can make you happy or sad. It’s not just lyrics, the sounds themselves have this power.
Not only that, a smooth transition between songs can lead to a feeling of euphoria and a messy transition can be jarring. Music resonates differently too, depending on one’s emotional makeup, experiences and level of awareness toward various things.
People can have the same effect. When you resonate with someone, it will have an effect on your whole body. Ever meet someone and feel that something is totally off? Those are two notes that don’t harmonize well with each other. It could be that person at that stage in their life or it could just be their mood that day. It could be your mood that day too.
I wonder how aware people are of this. And I wonder how much is being influenced by the earth, and how much we can influence the earth.
What if lightning and earthquakes aren’t only caused by our outer effect on the environment but also our emotional state and our hopes and dreams and fears as a collective? What if Earth evolved for humans to live comfortably because of the desires of microorganisms to evolve and explore.
I know it’s a bit of a stretch but if there is a connection between me and the earth, maybe the first place I should look for such answers is the earth and life itself.
And so I pay attention to these subtle sounds and sights to see what I learn and ask just because it’s fun and comfortable and feels as natural as anything ever could be.

These are truly wonderful experiences—how blissful it is to peacefully observe the small things around us.
I’m glad I have friends who understand ❤️
It's a very good thing to resonate sometimes especially in a good environment as this
It helps to relax the mind and birth good ideas
The sound of music is very important too 😊
Wow man I've seen that rain on the phone glowing colors, it's so cool haha. The ship horn memory is nice, music changes my mood too, fast songs then slow ones and sometimes depending on the gender that is singing
Waking up on Sunday afternoon makes me remember my childhood the more
I don’t know how that happens but it happens to me so many times
