A lady in my neighbour returned from Maha-Kumbh at prayagraj. Maha-Kumbh.is one of the largest human gathering at the confluence of Ganga Yamuna and Saraswati. It occurs in every 144 years. This year the event was over crowded with many people from far off places visited the places. It becomes a kind of achievement, whosoever made it to the place. Coming back to my concern, even though I am not aware of neighbour visit, still I learned it from her mouth. Being the first lady from our colony to make it to the grand ocassion she was promoting herself as she had won a Olympic medal. You guessed it right, she was talking loudly, every since she came back. Either on phone or to the other ladies of colonies, just to show her superiority and getting praise from other. Listening to her loud talk, I am wondering does such things needed to be advertise?

Looking at the over crowded situation, it is really tough to make it to the place. People.were hustling and bustling to reach to maha-kumbh. She did manage to return safely, after taking the holy dip. No doubts it is a great achievement for her. Being housewife she is bor habitual to all the crowd tussle still she managed to sucfesfully travel. But promoting or advertising herself after the trip is not of any worth. As her visit remaijna secret one and no lady innthe colony was aware of her plan, so now making a fuss out of her travel is of no use. If she is so caring and really wanted to make a statement for herself, she must have made a plan for every ladies or have taken few of her friends along. Together they could have enjoyed the journey.

I am not sure how correct I am, as I always fail in advertising myself or my accomplishment. Be it personal life or professional. Infact I never count them a bigger event, as I remain content with little acknowledgment of my work. At professional front, I was wrong in not advertising myself much, as my fellow colleague took advantages of my innocence and accomplishment to their benefit. I learned it very hard way, that, in most professional contexts, it is generally good to advertise ourself. In a competitive market, promoting our skills and achievements can help employers recognize our value and consider us for promotions or new roles. By actively sharing our expertise and accomplishments, we can create a professional image that can attract potential clients or collaborators. But ibgenuinely failed in that.

Though, I did get the benefits bit later in my career, but I lagged behind in the race just becaise I could not self promoted myself in correct way. It was the only skills that I needed to incorporate into my character. Finding the lady taking too much today, it recalled me my previous instances. May be I am still lagging behind, as finding such things appears to ve childish. But who know these are they way to get more acclaimed and garner accolades.

Some people worry that self-promotion makes them seem arrogant. However, others say that sharing your light and helping others is a positive thing. I belive that we should "self-promote" ourself frommtime to time, as it can help us stand out in the crowd. Such things showcase our skills, and increase our visibility for potential opportunities. But the only concern is that as long as it is done authentically and not excessively boastful.

In good faith - peace!!

Sharing successes can be a way to inspire others, but it can turn into annoying thing if it's not presented in a balanced way.

Some people can boast of their achievements they fail to understand that silent is the best best achievement

Self promotion has become the need of the hour. The newer generations have learned that skill better than their primary ones. So it's mandatory for others to learn it if you want to remain competitive. Just doing it in a subtle manner can go a long way.
