I think people have this issue of not knowing when to draw the line even when the red flags are evident. In a way, I think we have to be a bit selfish and put ourselves first instead of trying to do the opposite for the sake of whatever it may be. Actions definitely tell us a lot more than words ever will. Amazing and thoughtful post :)
