I even watched a piece the other night on news about it having issues when it goes off on tangents and produces irrelevant information or sources for information that is not true.
It will guess, filling in blanks with whatever is close enough - the average person likely doesn't even realize the difference.
I think they want to shut the door on other AI companies, now they have got first to the table. It happens with many new industries.

I was looking at it from a more positive aspect, but your probably right and they are only trying to protect their market share.
