The Ever Spiraling Darkness

This Is Just Me Ranting Away. Good Luck Keeping Track With Me Spewing Down Words.

Here I am sitting in the darkness once again. Why do you always leave me in the darkest of darkness?

What will become of us? Our once great and proud nation?

Rubble seems like an appropriate answer, does it not?

Well if there was any silver lining around the cloud I'd say it would be that "at-least I'm not afraid of the dark!"

I got home today all psyched up to start on a little story to share here on Hive with everyone, I got home a little later than usual and just as I opened up the laptop I realized that I didn't put it on charge through out the day.

Big mistake and I knew it would turn into somewhat of a screw up if I just left and come back tonight to put it on charge. I said to myself "nah bud we never have loadshedding here on the farm." Well of-course.... I kid you not the one day I decide to take a gap with not charging up my router and laptop is the day we get loadshedding here on the farm.

Although it might be because of the rain. Again I kid you not if the wind just so much as farts the power goes out on the farm..... It seems to be a problem that "they" can't fix or don't want to since hitting an overtime is their game plan. Oh yes "they" have no interest in doing their job during normal working hours, but see how "they" come rolling out through the night!

Am I right or am I right?

No doubt I learned a hard lesson here. That's life I suppose, you never really learn until you feel or experience from those mistakes.

Granted there are worse things in life yes, but imagine gaining something that's in a extraordinary great condition that took hundreds of years to build up and here "they" come along of manage to fuck things up so badly in just 27 years. It's a wonder it took so long and it's an even bigger mystery how our country is still afloat.

Albeit I don't think we shall be floating for much longer with these arms we supplies the Russians with or whatever contraband was loaded or unloaded to or from the infamous Lady R

Might be that in a couple of months we will find ourselves on a battlefield, but that's all irrelevant now I suppose. We don't mean much as a country that experiences loadshedding off electricity everyday.

Some places have it worse off than where I'm from, some people in Johannesburg has told us of sitting without power for 12 hours a day, 4 hours a shot. Can you just sit for a moment and realize what enormous impact that has on our economy? In the last three months the price of fruit, vegetables and chicken has rose exponentially because they are so reliant on electricity to keep production up. Not only that, if I had to name everything I'd be typing forever.... I don't even want to take a dive down the fuel price in our country, absurd is not even the word... As a matter of fact I don't think there really is a word for these bafoons claiming to run our country.

For the last 28-29 years our country was a developing country. Yet we're still not developed? Mind you the country was a first world power before the rise of the ANC. But okay let's not dive too deep into politics or terrorist organizations.

On a side note.
For all those questioning South Africa's involvement in the war against Ukraine. I doubt we'd be a force to fear, after all we can barely keep the lights running in our own country and so many nations has given us bailouts "I think." I know when Covid struck China gave us a fair amount of money... Real fair, it was R500 Billion (ZAR) you can do the math yourself converting it to dollars, it's probably a lot less dollars now than it was back then. Now I don't think they lent us the money, I think that they bought our country and now the muppets are just there to be there because they have to be there...

God knows what the fuck they do the whole day but taking a quick look at what a circus our house of parliament is. My best bet would be that they are trying their best to mimic some sort of circus.
The problem might be that they don't have red noses and curly orange wigs on with shoes way too big for them?

Might very well be.

Well by the time of posting this the power has come back, for now though. As soon as I get comfy it would be darkness all over again!

None the less I'm glad it came back because I was able to tweak it a little on the PC. Typing a post out on the phone can be somewhat frustrating. 😂

There's the old question, "what if they tried to start a war but nobody showed up?" I think the point of basic training is to winnow out anyone with real independence and virtue so only the obedient remain. Of course, every nation has its nationalist propaganda on education and the media further clouding the issue for all but the most inquisitive. It's s trange how everyone in power seems to be trying their hardest to turn Ukraine into World War 3.

As for power outages, we have trees fall on power lines every now and again with winter snow or summer storms, but electricity is otherwise reliable. One would think a country with South Africa's industry and mineral wealth would have a thriving economy with robust infrastructure, but political plunder always diverts wealth into the coffers of the corrupt. The UK plunders its colonies, too, for another layer of historical losses.

Is there any remnant of Boer or Zulu warrior spirit to fend off domestic tyrants or foreign invaders?

Laughs, well I can say for a fact that most of the country wont be showing up. If anyone is able to read between the lines we are actually more of a communist state than anything else. But let them eat at their fruit tree without watering it, it's not like the majority of the country really has any notion of what is really going on.

I say fuck it, I know how to work hard. I'll always have bread at my table.

Yeah the power outage situation is getting very problematic and when the system collapses, well that would be a problem of it's own. But I think it's all planned, they are sabotaging the power stations and such and the information they spread about why and what happened is all lies to be honest. I can spit out more stuff but I don't have the mood for that now 😂 after all everyday is just filled with more declining anyways.

Yeah that last sentence is very sensitive. There is to be honest but most Boer's in the country are to afraid to do or say anything, in fact if you're white and you so much as farts in their direction you'd go to jail. The Zulu's well they want to do something but they don't, there was talks a few years back that the Zulu king is going to try and set things right but who really knows.

It's one colossal fuck up to be blunt.

Ten years ago, the ZAR/USD was R9.80 for one dollar. at the time of writing this it's R19.66 for one dollar. To think there was a time when the Rand was stronger than the dollar, however short it may have been.

I claim no knowledge of South African history beyond that both fought the British, and I feel about the British Empire the way I feel about the New York Yankees in baseball: my instinct is always to cheer for their opposition.
