RE: Drab and boring...Not

I fully agree, I also write for myself. I would do very badly if I were to write about things that don't interest me at all. I stick to a sort of planner to keep track of the content I have in terms of pictures I made or stories to share, but it's flexible, and often things move forward or back when I don't feel like writing about that topic today. It's mostly to make sure things don't get lost in a big pile of pictures, lol.

I don't mind people using stock pictures if the content is something personal written by themselves. I admit that I often refrain from voting for single-image posts where the image is generated by AI as this means they added zero to nothing to the content themselves.

The comment about using an image non-related to the text made me think. I don't think I ever do this when I don't have an image myself, these are often the moments I seek for an image on Canva. Food for thought, thank you!

My take on Hive content is that I'm sure everyone has something they can write about, engage with others about, create vlogs etc as each and every one of us has something they care about. It can be anything and I think it's only a matter of finding your personal groove here.

Great post, thanks for giving me food for thought!

If I find out I've voted AI content I reverse the vote. But that's just me.

On the own image thing...Go and look at my posts, like the post feed of them...not always does the image have anything to do with the content, the image is there to get attention. Of course, if I was writing about a camping trip I took, then I'd want the images to reflect that, not be of a tug boat or a toilet block in the local supermarket, or some such thing. You know? One must apply some logic.

Makes total sense. I do have thousands (probably much more lol) of pictures that are good but will probably never leave my folder on the computer. I could dig into these in the future. I will give it a try the next time I don't have a picture of the topic.

Maybe also try finding a picture you like and making your post about that, meaning create a post based on the image; get creative, it shows personality.

Yeah, I've done that, it's a great tip!
