I've started the 21 Day Abundance Meditation, well I'm 9 days in now. This is my second time to do it, the first time was about 5 years ago, when I was at a different crossroads in my life. It's funny how certain things come to you, just when you need them. I surprised myself, the first time round, by even dong it. Meditation in that conventional sense has never really been my way, to reach a meditative state. Dancing has always been my preferred method of meditation. When I can just switch everything off and be fully present in that moment. When I get to feel myself flow.
The type of meditation that I am doing now, has never got me to that state, a state of utter freedom. I think they are too different really. There is stillness in both, just in different ways. As they are both very different approaches. What I'm doing now, is much more focused, which can be at odds, with the wildness, that courses through my veins. The first time I did it, I found t hard at times, especially as I often found myself trying to do it, in amongst the busyness of my family life.
But now, now I have gotten better at making time. Mostly in the morning, when everyone else was still asleep. Which yes I should have done first time round, but I had a different rhythm, back then. But anyways, no point looking back, like I said, it's really about the focus. Where I am focusing my energy, because that is where the abundance will start to flow.
I have been enjoying it more this time, finding it easier to just slip into it and really embrace the stillness and the silence. It's been a lovely way to start my day. I usually do it before I get out of bed, but I want to start doing it outside now, with my bare feet on the ground.
There are exercises to do along with the meditation and some of them are different to the ones I done last time, which is really good. I have been finding them helpful, as they get to delve deep, whilst also but also reflect on these past few years and acknowledge the growth I have done and the growth that I still have to do. All the while, doing my best to remove the things that have been preventing me from achieving what I want in my life, preventing me from moving forward.
If you want things to change in life, you have to take action, things aren't going to just fall into my lap. Change comes with movement, there always needs to be movement. So I'm focusing on moving forwards, continuing the flow of abundance into my life.

It makes sense that finding stillness in a busy environment can be challenging, but it's amazing that you're sticking with it. Keep going, ma'am @trucklife-family 😊❤️
While I definitely do appreciate traditional meditation, I'm much like you in that I do it in other things. If I do meditate, it's usually for fairly short durations, and yep, our focus is our point of attraction and creation. By the way, that photo of the bridge and river is a fantastic shot! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
Oh gosh I did this a few years back when we were all doing it on Hive, but I forgot about it. It was so valuable at the time - maybe doing it again could be fun!
