My mother was always so much into holidays, especially the decorations. She had many boxes in the atic for each one. I was never so much into the external trappings, but rather the inner essence, of each season. I don't even use names, I just feel and flow with the cycles. I think that it's great that you give your girls a foundation of understanding, yet allow them to choose their own paths.
