My last first is travelling alone this year. I had opportunity to travel, but I had no one available to come with me or to go together, thus I broke the shell of mine and went alone. It was better than I expected ;) From now on, I think I won't need any one whenever I want to travel.
That's a good one and a great revelation for yourself; travelling alone can seem really daunting but little by little one learns how to do it better and it becomes less troublesome or worrying.
At least, I decide where to visit, where to take photos and how many times to spend for a monument.
Having that sort of autonomy can be great, the ability to do what you want, when you want.
