But I am sure we can all come up with a few examples from history where many would say "maybe it would have been better if that person got cancer and died." Or hit by a bus. But then, if all the crappy people were somehow excluded from the world, would we actually be better off, or would we be weaker for not having them in it?
Today I've finished the mini-series Adolescence. I don't know if you already seen in. But, trust me, it is a master piece by itself. From the photography to the filming it self. All the four episodes were filmed in one single sequence. The Netflix series put us in a place where we tend to judge situations without knowing all the "truth" from them. And in end.. All sums up to the resignation of a believing father.
Memories are imperfect. And even when we remember correctly, we are only remembering what we got from our field of view, from our perspective, and the feelings created.
From this fact it is from most importance to have Historians. To keep the most believed version of the facts registered. The most believe, sometimes isn't the truth it self.
I have seen it and the way it was done was fantastic. Great acting, realistic, one take! Imagine the rehearsal and there were many kids involved.
What is the saying, history is written by the victors.
I didn't knew this saying, so I went for a simple search in the origin of the phrase, and who might have "coined", and it goes back to 1842 (link)
One thing leading to another... And so it goes. And all we can do is to live, and believe on it or not.
Cheers
