I have had a wonderful time learning how to and sharing my visual analysis of these great works of art with you this year.

Note: All but one of these posts was written for my Art History class at Cambridge 2023-2024. I chose to write on topics that I had pictures of. At times it was a bit of challenge. I ultimately wanted to be able to post original pictures and writings and if I took a picture of it then I knew I already had a certain level of interest in the piece.

We enjoyed going on this beautiful journey with you, some of us picked up a thing or two from your post, thank you for sharing🤗

Thanks so much Tammy. It was so great learning and researching and sharing. I am glad to have a place to share and for there to be people who read and learn too.

Gol Stave Church looks very much like old wooden churches on the west of Ukraine, especially in Carpathian mountains.

That is so neat you have churches like that in Ukraine too. The one we saw was so special, all wood and from the 1200s.

It is really old and special, so good that it survived many centuries. I don't know if we have such old churches preserved in Ukraine, but the technology survived and is still used today. 🙂

The church definitely looks superb and have this memories of ancient temples I assumed

Some absolutely incredible stuff in here!

Thank you Laura. It was a great class! I learned so much, including how to do and write a visual analysis.
