The Northern Lights or Aurora Borealis are most commonly seen from late August to April in northern Finland. Auroras are caused by solar winds that occur all year round. However, the nights must be dark enough to see this amazing spectacle. The best place to see are also in Norway, Iceland, Sweden, Canada, Greenland or Alaska.
