Today I wanted to take the long walk Canal route into Town. Local shops are fine for all the basic needs, but shoe shops are only in the Town Center. I could buy from one of the advertised on-line "Retail Outlets" I suppose. As there are so many new websites that sell shoes on mail order. Especially since Covid-19 began, there are far more people than ever buying all kinds of stuff on the internet now.
Anyway, for some things I like to actually see what I'm buying. Nothing ever seems to look like the "art painted" photo in a magazine or website in reality. So I looked in some shops and eventually made my purchase and began the long walk back home.
