Hi everyone,
This quarry is like home : I've been there thousands of times 😀 It's so big that I still have areas to explore.
On a friday night, I joined my friend Julie and we drove to this location. I had an appointment with a bunch a crazy-cool underground sculptors, to chat a bit, to drink few beers, to see their recent pieces of art and to share good vibes.
After the meeting, Julie and me walked during a couple of hours in this underground maze. I showed her locations I like, with comments about the good memories I have here. We made small stops to take pictures with simple lighting :
Before leaving, Julie & me took an hour to do a bit of lightpainting. As I had taken my Camera Rotation Tool, I tried a couple of things. Here's one example :
Lightpainting created in real time, captured to the camera in single photographic frames. SOOC
No layers /no Photoshop / no editing except minor adjustments (lens correction profite, WB, contrast (+12)) and addition of my logo.
Gear :
Canon EOS 6D body
Canon EF 16-35mm f/4L IS II USM lens
Canon RC-E6 IR remote
Benro A4770TN tripod
Jobu-Design Heavy Duty Gimbal Head Mk IV

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
