Hi everyone,
I first met Amélia last summer.
She's a former gymnast. She gave up gymnastic 20 years ago and she praticed very few during that period. But she's got skills for sure.
She took the pose for a couple of local photographers during the past 2 years, in a classic model way. As we chat about her journey into life, she told me she was an athlete. I suggested her to try to do a couple of gymnastic poses and the result was absolutely gorgeous.
We decided to try lightpainting together this year. We met at the Forget Island and we had a very nice picnic close to the Loire river, enjoying the beautiful sunset 😎 After that, Amélia started to try different things in lightpainting : drawing, writing, lighting objets and people (me), combining different aspects. After an hour and a half, she really wanted to pose and see how I work. Here's the very first portrait we made together :
This location is really peaceful, a perfect spot to connect back with Nature 🙏

Lightpainting is a photographic technique in which exposures are made by moving a hand-held light source while taking a long exposure photograph, either to illuminate a subject or to shine a point of light directly at the camera, or by moving the camera itself during exposure. Nothing is added or removed in post processing.
