I have been taking some photos for my class materials. I will speak briefly about color and minerals. I need to show how the color of the light affects the perceived color of an object, and what happens when we use filters.
I have some filters from one of my old SLRs but don't have a red one. Since I had been planning some light experiments, I bought some colored cellophane. Yesterday afternoon I went out in the garden to continue with my shoots. One of the first things I did was to hold the red cellophane high and look through. Then I grabbed my phone and, not without some effort, I took this filtered photo. I wouldn't call it a success, but I think it is interesting. At least it serves to demonstrate that green leaves seen through a red filter will be black.
I took this photo with my Redmi Note 8, with a red cellophane sheet pressed against the lens. The only post-processing I did was some minor sharpening.
