How beautiful this testimony to your daughter is. You are correct in all you said about the attitudes toward fathers. I wish it were not so, but history remembers when it was; when the government had to chase down fathers to force them to accept their responsibilities; when they would abandon the family and quit their jobs to doge those responsibilities; when they choose not to be a willing participant in children's lives...that is until the child grows up and accomplishes the unthinkable without them, then they run to their side to be recognized.
I applaud all fathers who love and embrace the family; the children; their responsibilities. I do believe the attitudes are changing. I just hope it continues for the younger generation of men to see the value in doing so.
