Today's photo is from Czech Republic, Ondrejov - a small weekend town close to Prague. I spent there a month doing internship and research on radiative transfer. On this photo, you can see stone Antena sculpture as well as the solar radio telescope (it is one of the several antennas observing the Sun). The observatory has about 9 operational telescope - the most impressive for me was 2m optical telescope - probably in one of the future posts.

Cool photo.
Sounds like a really interesting internship. Looks like a nice place outside the city as well.
Interesting motif and contrast - remember to enjoy some Czech beer when you are there :)
Sadly, that was long time ago - but beer was really appreciated and indulged in large quantities!
Kozel, Sviyani, Bernard and that guy with muscles on the picture! :) maybe one day we'll meet again. :)
