I have lately fallen in love with the beauty of nature – the quiet grace, its gorgeous colours, and the sense of peace it brings. Just then, an event of great simplicity touched me, and I felt I had to snap it with my smartphone.
At that moment, what stood before me was not just a tree and a sky; it was a lesson in the vastness of nature. The sky was beautiful and expansive, streaked with soft shades of blue and here and there a small cloud or two; meanwhile down below, the old tree thrust skywards. Joined in this way, they were like a work of nature painting, except for the fact that they were both so quietly awe-inspiring. It was as charming as it was stirring.
Old trees do seem to have a beauty all their own. Their branches may be lacing well past the wear date, but they tell me that years were lived there, seasons of weathering done, and roots growing deep. Even without leaves in full bloom, they somehow still have a kind of grace and strength to them. a life's journey frozen in time. Even today, these little details of their being, when you take time to notice them, which it rarely takes — nature holds them so tight that one can't help but see.
As I stood there below the tree, gazing up at the sky beyond it, it suddenly dawned on me what a unique opportunity this was. This is not some towering mountaintop or endless ocean expanse, but simply a tree and the sky, which might look like two things put together make something else when put side by side. It’s in such small, quiet moments that nature offers up some of her biggest truths: how to grow up, how to stay still, and how to see beauty at all stages.
This is why I post such images on the blockchain. I want to share this joy with my readers and followers, to let them see the world through my eyes: that of someone who has learnt how to slow down, how to stop, and how to savour all that nature has given us.
So here's to nature in all its elegance and power. Here's to trees that have stood for years and skies reaching into eternity. And here's to finding beauty in the places where you least expect it.
Very nice beautiful natural view you have captured here. I am a lover of nature and the calm it brings. Nothing compares to it.
