EQUALIZER
BATTLE TIP:
- Buffs and debuffs are done afterward - this impacts base health.
- Don't use high HP monsters and focus on high damage.
- Try to use a lot of monsters as well.
- Having a Tank Heal, Thorns, Triage for defense helps a lot.
Equalizer doesn't do me any favors in many battles, as I've always built my decks focusing on a high amount of hit points. And since everyone is equal in that regard, I have to go for another strategy, which sometimes takes me a while to find one that brings me victory.
In the Water deck I lose my advantage of Djinn Oshannus's high health pool with this rule in effect.
MATCH REPLAY
SUMMONERS
Even knowing that I would have the disadvantage of the battle rule using the Water deck, I decided to choose thinking about the amount of mana to be used and with that try to exploit the other cards with high magic damage combined with the buff and try to win.
With that in mind, I set up my strategy with the following cards:
POSITION 1
In the position a traditional tank, with a high attack power (5) and the healing ability, to try to stay alive 2 or 3 rounds, while the other cards attack the enemy with a massive direct magic damage on life.
POSITION 2
In position 2 I put the Djinn Oshannus, which even losing its advantage of high life points, would still have the advantage of Void and Phase skills, along with 5 points of speed, being able to hold a few rounds as a semi-tank once the Sea Monster was dead.
POSITION 3
With 2 base damage, the Riverboat Captain was chosen in position 3 to hold some attacks due to the Equalizer rule, while the Ruler of the Seas that is in position 4 can attack.
POSITION 4
In fourth position we have the Ruler of the Seas, who will be the guide to victory or defeat depending on his performance. With 3 magic damage, and the ability Blast and Shiftness, which even served to leave the Djinn Oshannus with 6 speed.
POSITION 5
In position 5, a Crustacean King to heal tanks throughout the game.
POSITION 6
And in position 6 Venari Marksrat to be killed by Sneak and increase Crustacean's power to 2, so that he can deal damage to the enemy tank, if he has the Void ability.
ENEMY STRATEGY
Focused with attacks all towards the monster of direction 1, the enemy spoiled my Marksrat strategy, not putting any cards with Sneak, which made me have a disadvantage of one card in the game.
And with a great attack power using Pelacor Arbalest and Tanks with Shield, I couldn't eliminate the opponent, being defeated.
WHAT COULD BE DIFFERENT?
Using the tool SplinterTools I saw that my chance of winning was 33%. So I made some changes to see if I could increase my chance.
And to my surprise I didn't even need to change cards, but position them better. As the opponent had no cards with Sneak, I just had to change the Venari Marksrat to position 2, so when he died he would give a bonus to the Djinn Oshannus that could reach up to 7 speed. Thus increasing my chance to 100%.

DICA DE BATALHA:
- Buffs e debuffs são feitos depois - isso afeta a saúde básica.
- Não use monstros de alto HP e concentre-se em alto dano.
- Tente usar muitos monstros também.
- Ter um Tank Heal, Thorns, Triage para defesa ajuda muito.
Equalizer não me favorece em muitas batalhas, vez que eu sempre montei meus baralho focando em uma grande quantidade de pontos de vida. E uma vez que todos estão equiparados nesse quesito, tenho que partir para outra estratégia, o que por vezes eu demoro para encontrar uma que me traga a vitória.
No baralho de Água eu perco minha vantagem da alta quantidade de vida do Djinn Oshannus com essa regra em ação.
REPLAY DA PARTIDA
INVOCADORES
Mesmo sabendo que eu teria a desvantagem da regra de batalha usando o baralho de Água, decidi escolher pensando na quantidade de mana a ser usada e com isso tentar explorar nas demais cartas com dano mágico alto aliada ao buff e tentar uma vitória.
Pensando nisso montei minha estrategia com as seguintes cartas:
POSIÇÃO 1
Na posição um tank tradicional, com um alto poder de ataque (5) e a habilidade de cura, para tentar ficar vivo 2 ou 3 rounds, enquanto as outras cartas atacam o inimigo com um dano massivo mágico direto na vida.
POSIÇÃO 2
Na posição 2 coloquei o Djinn Oshannus, que mesmo perdendo sua vantagem dos altos pontos de vida, ainda teria a vantagem das habilidades Void e Phase, juntamente com 5 pontos de velocidade, podendo segurar alguns rounds como um semi-tank assim que o Sea Monster fosse morto.
POSIÇÃO 3
Com 2 de dano base, o Riverboat Captain foi escolhido na posição 3 para segurar alguns ataques devido a regra Equalizer, enquanto o Ruler of the Seas que está na posição 4 possa atacar.
POSIÇÃO 4
Na quarta posição temos o Ruler of the Seas, que será o guia para a vitória ou para a derrota dependendo do seu desempenho. Com 3 de dano mágico, e a habilidade Blast e Shiftness, que inclusive serviu para deixar o Djinn Oshannus com 6 de velocidade.
POSIÇÃO 5
Na posição 5, um Crustacean King para recuperar a vida dos tanks no decorrer do jogo.
POSIÇÃO 6
E na posição 6 o Venari Marksrat para ser morto por Sneak e aumentar o poder do Crustacean para 2, para que consiga causar um dano no tank inimigo, caso ele tenha a habilidade Void.
ESTRATÉGIA INIMIGA
Focado com ataques todos para o monstro da direção 1, o inimigo estragou minha estratégia do Marksrat, não colocando nenhuma carta com Sneak, o que me fez ter a desvantagem de uma carta no jogo.
E com um grande poder de ataque usando Pelacor Arbalest e Tanks com Shield, não consegui eliminar o adversário, sendo derrotado.
O QUE PODERIA SER DIFERENTE?
Usando a ferramenta SplinterTools vi que minha chance de vitória era 33%. Então fiz algumas alterações, para ver se conseguia aumentar minha chance.
E para minha surpresa não precisava nem alterar cartas, e sim posiciona-las melhor. Como o adversário não tinha cartas com Sneak, bastava eu alterar o Venari Marksrat para a posição 2, assim quando ele morresse iria dar bônus para o Djinn Oshannus que poderia chegar até 7 de velocidade. Aumentando assim minha chance para 100%.
