I spent a week in a cabin on Lake Winnipeg with no internet, no cell phone connection and of course no other people. Fortunately, I was surrounded by nature. I spent most of my time engulfed in the boreal forest, watching its rich ecosystem wake up from its winter slumber. This is was I saw.
