Evarcha is a genus of jumping spiders belonging to the family Salticidae, distributed throughout the world, with 85 species described by arachnologists.
This one is an Evarcha jumper native to Sumatra. Which is correct, Evarcha gausapata (Thorell, 1890) or Evarcha nigrifrons (C. L. Koch, 1846)? I have no idea how to explain which one is actually more accurate. However, both species have been described as Evarcha, which is distributed in Sumatra. So it's very likely that the jumper here is one of them.
