In comparison another photograph was taken very shortly after the bridge. In comparison to the darker light of the bridge scene. The next sight turned out to be a much lighter scene, to my sheer delight a family of kangaroos eating green grass for their dinner on a football oval. Unperturbed with the arrival of two bikes they continued eating in a most calm manner, obviously very comfortable with people.
Seeing a father and son playing ball, I imagined every afternoon these kangaroos watched football players practising the game. Why would they be skittish at a couple of bike riders stopping for a moment? They must enjoy the colours of the sunset every afternoon at this time.
Go to the viewing deck on the beach on your way home, come and check out the sunset over the ocean a voice whispered in my mind. Breathe in nature's beauty one last time before heading home, the pink colours over the blue ocean was as always too wondrous and pretty to miss.
Remembering my adventurous promise to travel along known and unknown paths and roads I headed to the beach to be greeted by a stupendous sight. It was one of those idyllic post card pink sunsets, a fitting end to a fabulous bike ride.
Thanks for coming along for the ride. It is a pleasure showing you my picturesque part of the world at the Sunshine Coast.
My post is dedicated to being home again after the busy hospital routine. Never again will I take good health granted. I learned that today is all we have so not wasting it is a new pledge to me.
