Hello dear Hivelovers, after a few days absent from the platform I have many things to tell you and show you.
I will start with this post dedicated to an amphibian that fascinates me, it is the banana frog. So join me to observe this fascinating species.
A different banana frog As each year passes, it is expected that in the rainy season the resurgence of various species occurs, animals of all kinds are happy. It is time to reproduce.
Every year I find at least one very common banana frog in the rainy season, only this time I noticed something different. On the back of this frog I saw a green spot, something I had not seen in others. So I wasted time and dedicated myself to photographing this cute frog.
I don't know if the spot is a fungus or just an unusual feature in this species, if anyone knows about it don't hesitate to write me in the comments section, I assume that the frog is healthy since except for that green spot I found no signs that it was sick.
Normally these frogs are found in humid places and to reproduce they look for stagnant water pools where they can leave their eggs so that their cycle begins. First the eggs that later become embryos, then they go to the tadpole stage, 2-legged tadpole, 4-legged tadpole until they reach their adult frog stage.
Near the house I could find several puddles that contain frog eggs, in a few weeks they will become embryos and begin their stages. An easy way to identify that there are frog eggs is that you can see with the naked eye a foam similar to that generated by soap in the water, then with the next rains the foam disappears leaving the eggs floating.
Year after year I have been photographing these beautiful amphibians that I think are indicators that your habitat is working well, since amphibians are not able to survive in humidity or healthy water sources.
What do you think of this Banana Frog? Do you have one at home? Have you had a close-up look at this incredible animal?
Rani's portrayal is very good and I like that in our place there are also a lot of words like this when we enter the forest.
I love those frog eyes
