When I moved to the city of Caracas, one of the first places I visited was this internationally renowned park. It's Parque del Este is really delicious. It can be found in it from a planetarium to a zoo, through several lakes and different gardens, but I never imagined that in such a wet city trapped between mountains there was a garden of this nature.

I didn't even know what a xerophile garden was until this day. I discovered that its main feature is plants that have low water needs, such as those that exist naturally in deserts and very dry places. Researching at home I realized that it should not be easy to maintain a garden with these characteristics in such a rainy city, but here in Caracas they achieved it, and I have gone to visit it several times to take pictures and hang out.

The mixture of plants and boulders looks very nice ! It is not a garden that you would expect here in Germany, but it is such a beautiful one ;)

Plants that are water wise when living in dry country are the answer, cactus give spectacular flowers. Big rocks protruding from the ground give character, each drawing your eye to the quiet in desert or semi-desert life.

Lovely entry to amazing nature showing what life is like in your region @baritenor
