A photo I just had to share. My partner and I were on a lovely walk around Killiney Hill picking blackberries to go with the fresh apples in the garden so I could make a blackberry and apple crumble. WE had a lovely long walk with plenty of sights to see. Towards the end I noticed a small shiny object near the ground. So I bent down to see this wonderful beetle(I think it is a beetle but I am not sure. Maybe someone could identify it?)
The shell was so shiny I could almost see myself in it! However given how small it was I couldn't quite see myself! It was more like looking into the bathroom mirror after a shower!

It's so shiny! Maybe it's an alien...
Very shiny! I was fascinated by it! Could be, definitely not a bug I had seen before! But a couple weeks later, another one, in my house this time

They are so cool!
Absolutely! And I am not usually a bug person, but sometimes they are so fascinating you can't help admiring them.
