How do you see the unseen?

in WE ARE MOVING3 years ago

When I have my walks in nature it is usually in order to disconnect from everything that has happened during the week. I find myself craving and yearning for more time alone in the woods. As I come back to the urban life I have difficulty to adapt to the noises, to the crowds. If I could, I would spend most of my time in the forest and never come back to town. I would probably join the hippie club of those who love offgrid life, living a free and peaceful life away from the world . Maybe it sounds like I am a solitary weird antisocial person. Sometimes I am. Call me MaryTheHermit. Often I find myself happy to be alone rather than having shallow superficial human interactions which cause me social fatigue. I crave authenticity and real presence which is harder to come across nowadays...

Admiring nature I find myself becoming still. I pause. I reflect.

fall1.jpg

I saw light hitting a leaf. I thought about humans. How much do we see from what people show us?

fall7.jpg

How much do we reveal our soul to the other person?

fall8.jpg

You see, when you take a leaf and look at it you may think you see everything. But if light hits it from the back you get a different perspective. You see the details, the little veins, the patterns . Is that leaf more than meets the eye? Is it the same with us, humans?

fall2.jpg

I wondered about my own soul. I thought with sadness that I rarely felt truly seen or understood by my partners or friends or family. I am aware that we all have our inner walls but has it happened to you to tear those walls and yet have no one interested in looking? I wondered how much from what was unsaid or unseen was understood when it was about me.

fall3.jpg

Picking up the unsaid is maybe the most important caring gesture someone could make. It is a sort of emotional intelligence and higher empathy which proves a superior understanding of the matters of the heart. People can talk with you for years and still never give you access to their soul while you can talk with someone for a little while and feel that intimate connection . You feel it although you can't explain it. It is there although you can't see it.

fall4.jpg

I feel that successful loving marriages are build on the pillars of the unseen, of the unsaid. While your lover talks to you you can feel the unsaid, you can see beyond the mask, you can have empathy and genuinely search to understand the soul sitting next to you. When people no longer feel love they are not interested in making love. They are interested in being right. The power battle fuels the ego and the paper is just a forgotten memory of what love used to be.

fall5.jpg

There would be so much more love if people would pick up on the unseen. Then they would realize that harming the other means harming yourself hence the remorse after causing pain intentionally to someone with bad words, actions or passivity.

fall6.jpg

They would realize that we are souls trying to have a journey on this Planet in a quest for love and growth.

fall9.jpg

We heal through love and understanding.

The old couples who still hold hands and kiss each other like in their 20's have understood this. Don't you smile when you see them? Don't they give you hope that someday you will hold hands too with your older love? Don't they make you see the unseen....?

fall10.jpg

Have a great day and toodle loo!

I crave authenticity, in every aspect of life, the genuineness of one's soul. Is it too much to ask? I think not.

It is so heartwarming to see an older couple, still in love (even rekindled) after all those years. Love ebbs and flows as people grow, but, as long as it is together, does it really matter? It doesn't mean you aren't loved.

Reading between the lines is the ultimate compliment, and people who can do that will be in my confidence forever.

Le sigh. Great post, @creativemary

It is not too much to ask for Denise. I believe that if we are used with healthy love patterns and attachment styles then asking for love and naturally receiving it should be a no brainer. There is something magical about old couples who still love each other. They do it so silently and they do not show off, there is power in that silent love. I like it so much and it always brings me a smile to witness that making me want to have this in my own life at old age. But I also think that self love is the catalyst for more love in one's life. So first of all we have to love ourselves.
Reading between the lines is indeed the biggest compliment. I have felt that the kind of people who have an innate and learned ability to do this are rare, they have a certain ethereal allure to them and they are usually very calm and exude happiness. Maybe after you can go though darkness and despair and heal maybe only after that you can sit with the darkness of others and see between the lines the things they can't even see for themselves.
Thanks so much for reading Denise, hugs!!

You are always interesting to read. I was going to say joy, but, it goes beyond joy and into different territory. You challenge me to think differently at times, or at least consider other ways.

It is, without a doubt, a journey to live inside your head. Interesting and quite exciting at times - I have to imagine. Thanks, @creativemary!!

Ah yes being in my head is quite interesting lol. Sometimes a rollercoaster, sometimes heavy rain, sometimes silence, sometimes noise or plain bliss. Usually writing comes from an impulse and I feel like I am taking dictation, the words flow.
Your appreciation makes me smile. Inside. Thank you Denise🤗

There would be so much more love if people would pick up on the unseen. Then they would realize that harming the other means harming yourself hence the remorse after causing pain intentionally to someone with bad words, actions or passivity.

I agree! I have so much respect for the people who can see right through the glass of our emotions, as I, myself, can't still figure out who I am, lmao. I would like to have this ability to understand a person's emotion and see right through them. This will enhance sensitivity to someone's boundaries 💕 Thank you for the great read! It made me question my ability to emphatize with others 💕

Hey! Thanks so much for your words! Seeing right through people is an amazing quality. I believe that this comes with time and experience as when we are young we tend to be quite temperamental.
We need more compassionate people as there is enough pain and suffering in the world already.
Thanks for stopping by and for reading me! God bless you!

You're very much welcome! We really need to be more compassionate coz everyone has their burden, which we don't want to be added 💕 This is really a great read! Every word and picture is such an art!

This post is beautiful in EVERY WAY

Aww thanks so much my dear, I wrote it from my heart!

These pictures are beautiful! It’s look like heaven.

Thank you very much!

I love this!!! and the pictures are just stupendous👏❤️

Hey! Thanks a lot, I am so stoked that you liked them, I love the autumn colors and I felt the urge to capture them on camera

I often find that during my time in nature I come with my writing inspiration. The thoughts just flow and it is like some sort of divine inspiration dictates me what to write. Nature can teach us so many lessons if we are aware enough to listen!
I appreciate you for stopping by, thanks! Blessings!

There is definitely something revitalizing about being in the forest and nature in general. I think it has the same effect on me as well.

That was a really nice write up. Very emotional, in a way, which is nice.

Hey you! I agree on the energizing force of nature . I feel I have my energy restored every time after I am alone in there. Maybe it is because of the silence, maybe it is because of the visuals. There is magic there and if you think it through people were more peaceful and calm when they had this strong connection with nature, with their Earth.
I did feel quite emotional after the walk and I guess it permeated through my writing, thanks for stopping by and reading !

What a beautiful autumn after all 😊
Cool photos!)

Thank you my dear! Autumn is a wonderful season, I feel like in an art gallery when I see the changes in the colors. Magnificent for sure.

What a beautiful post Mary. I know what it's like to be both an empath and an outsider. I wrote a kinda prose poem a few days ago about pretty much being a forest hermit recluse witch - so I totally get where you are coming from haha.

I'm lucky - twenty years married to the love of my life and we still make love, and are in love. We work at it though. He does see me, more than anyone does, and loves me anyway and because of who I am. Warts and all, as they say.

Really enjoyed this lovely meandering through the woods and your mind.

Sometimes we don't need to be understood. We just need to feel okay with being who we are, and sod the rest. The trees know us. That's enough.

I would love to know your advices for maintaining a happy 20 year marriage, I always love a good lovestory😍😍😍

We empaths can feel so much that it can hurt. Time alone is like therapy for me

One of our long term goals is to build a home out in the country #offgridlife. You’re not alone in wanting that peaceful time away from the busy and loud world. I think it’s good to get away from it all from time to time.

I crave authenticity and real presence which is harder to come across nowadays

I feel exactly the same. I crave it but it’s so hard to come by.

I really enjoyed reading this piece from you. There is so much more to see than what our physical eyes can detect. I am still learning things about people that I’ve known for years. Maybe it’s because they are still figuring out things about themselves too.

Yes, I do often smile at older couples especially while living in a world full of separation and divorce. I long to have a lifelong marriage full of love and joy (as long as the Lord allows me to live on earth).

Thank you for all of the beautiful photos. I have been very happy to see so many pretty colored leaves this year. I’ve been really missing these colors ~
