Yesterday (10th April 2022) I went for a walk around some of the nature reserves around Woodhall Spa. One of these was Ostler's Plantation which is a good place to see Green Tiger Beetles.
A bit about Green Tiger Beetles
Green Tiger Beetles are a type of carnivorous ground beetle which lives in open, dry habitats such as Heathland and some Woodland rides. They are one of the commonest of the Tiger Beetle species. They favor sunny weather from March - October.
