Recently, I have been stumbling, rather ungracefully (just how I like it) across potent information of a few(or many) years ago. Watching the Anime, KILLING BITES, it came to my notice that The crocodile isn't good for just leather. Apparently, this big man is useful health wise as well. Let's look at this shall we...
Long ago, the Crocodiles became an interesting subjects for researchers in fields of medicine. Why? Because of their high rate of immunity. Crocodiles are known to be violent creatures with short tempers so it's no wonder they'd be involved in brutal fights for territory and stuff. However, crocodiles have been proven to heal rapidly with almost no infections from even teared up limbs. Amazing? I thought so too.
Crocodiles have well built immune systems and their blood is also a source of major attention. An article I was reading showed that Asians apparently have been using this precious finding as a traditional medicine. Not surprised there. The names that popped up on the article written about 16 years ago belonged to Asians. They always seem to think everything.
Back to the topic. Crocodile blood is used by Asians to treat Asthma, Allergies and so. There are quite the speculations that its blood can also be used against cancer. It goes without saying that research has been carried out and a theory given, but evidence stands out.
The Anti-tumor effects displayed by thorough scrutiny of crocodile organs speaks volumes. We basically know that crocodiles don't live in hygienic environments but they outlive most mammals. Speaking of mammals, crocodile White Blood Cells produce special protein called Antimicrobial Peptides. You might be wondering what could be special?
Heh. Well these proteins are said to fight against bacteria and even hardcore pathogens like cancer. Apparently, the crocodile blood cells not only defends, it attacks mercilessly. Well, I see where they get their hot blooded nature from even though they live in water.
However, administration of the crocodile immunity isn't advisable yet since it might be dangerous given the fact that crocodile immune systems attack whatever they deem as virus. We don't want them attacking our body do we? Compatibility must be tested and risk evaluated. While their organ is a good thing and (through various findings) can be consumed, something long term is called for. This is why the compatibility of human and crocodile immune systems are being tested. If possible, the anti-bodies extracted from crocodiles can become pills.
I'm really glad I got to know something like this. I had no idea! Did you? If you did, I'd like to know your thoughts. Do you think this path might lead to genetic mutation? I mean, a part of an animal in humans. Also, if we do end up consuming pills, would they have adverse effects such as anger issues? Lol. Might sound funny but I really do wonder. Asians are always two steps ahead fr. I wouldn't vouch for administering crocodile immunity at all and I think there's a big possibility of mutation. Thinking of it,anger issues and stubbornness is kinda plausible🤣🤣
Wawu, just hearing about the possibility of this for the 1st time. As much as knowledge
acquisition is broadening about the study of nature, I personally don't have the balls for endorsing the administration of crocodile immunity.
But on second thought, I think some people somewhere might be working on how the effects can be controlled/reduced.
