Hello friends!
Noticed one strange feature.
Living in the city, I often met hedgehogs walking in parks and on picnics. For me, this animal has ceased to be amazing, even though I have sympathy for hedgehogs since childhood ... Meeting a hedgehog in our area has become as common as meeting a person with a dog.
But with the aggravation of the situation in my country, I was forced to leave the city in search of greater autonomy. And then, in more wild nature, I was surprised to find that there are almost no hedgehogs!
During the year of my stay here, I met only one.
Here he is, my neighbor is a lone hedgehog))
I suppose that there are simply more of their natural predators here than in the city ... Dogs, foxes, birds of prey - those who like hedgehogs, but who find it very difficult to hide in the urban jungle.
We continuously influence the world around us, sometimes even imperceptibly to ourselves, but daily and irreversibly.
Here, far from the city, you will not meet flocks of useless, discarded stray dogs, flocks of rats, domestic pigeons. They are all companions of civilized man.
There are fewer hedgehogs, squirrels and hares. In the plowed steppes, there are fewer and fewer places where they can safely breed.
Lots of birds of prey. Foxes come across...
An amazing creature I have never seen with the naked eye while you have photographed it you are lucky.
Yes, they are wonderful, but wild and aggressive
Yay! 🤗
