Strolling for a morning walk early one Saturday morning, I brought my little camera with me. Hey, gotta use those tools that you invested in right?
But something that happens to many individuals once they buy a camera is ttat "Ah, I will just leave it at home today, there is nothing interesting around where I am going anyway".
Use the tools you have now!
The truth is if you look around there are always awesome pictures to take. It is just a matter of getting in the habit of bringing that pricey device around. That is another reason I feel people park their new cameras at home, they don't want anything to happen to their little precious. It reminds me of people who buy that cool piece of designer fashion and never wear it, but intend to save it for that "special occasion". Well, thanks to rona, those special occasions/events may be a long time coming, so you might as well wear that designer dress in the yard and bring that new camera with you everywhere...well almost everywhere. And of course, if you don't have a camera, your phone probably takes as good if not better pictures than most stand alone cameras. Hmmm I might just sell my camera 😄
Back to the frogs
Yeah so back to the stroll, I noticed these green frogs all over the place while I was out. But there is something different about these little green ones. Unlike the other frogs I saw around, they didn't jump into puddles and hide, it was as if I wasn't even there. Could it be because they are green they feel hidden in the leaves. Or could they be high on some frog hallucinogen?
Whatever the case may be, I did get some interesting shots. Look at this little guy tucked neatly between the leaf hidden from the deadly rays of the Japanese sun ( and crows). And below we have a little party of frogs on this pipe wheel.
I am not sure why all these green frogs were all in the same place, but I am guessing it is where they were born and it is probably where they will live out their lives.
If you see Kermit tell him I found his family here in Japan 😄
Camera: Canon M50 ( Kiss M )
Lens: 18-150mm
I saw a few of the same critters near my garden the other day. There are some tadpoles in the rain water barrel and I expect it's the same species too because it's the only frog that can easily climb up there.
It is interesting how they act different from the other frogs. Japan and Korea really do have the same environment. Is it hot as hell in the summer there too? I have only been in winter.
It was alright while it was pouring rain everday, but that stopped a few days ago. Now it's sunny and 32~34 during the afternoon. Since there is no wind in the concrete jungles of Seoul, it feels hot.
I think Seoul is similar to Osaka and the deep South is similar to Kyushu.
in the village you find a lot of frogs like this?
Not often, Usually the brown and mixed colored ones are around. You have to really look to see these guys.
