Hello Hive Community and Nature Lovers!
A couple of days ago a friend contacted me to let me know that, in his backyard, a little fellow paid him a nice visit. He told me about a frog with whitish skin. He told me that he went to water some of his plants and suddenly he saw out of the corner of his eye something moving, according to him, this little whitish frog was a bit slippery, I asked him to take some pictures of it so I could document his finding and he agreed.
En cada intento de tomarle unas fotos, la rana saltaba y era casi imposible poder captar con claridad la toma. Hasta que terminó por quedarse a reposar cerca de una planta de aloe vera, lugar en donde mi amigo pudo capturar algunas fotos para mostrármelas. Me contó que era mucho más diminuta de lo que se puede apreciar en las fotografías, y algo que ambos nos gustó fue la intensidad del color verdoso en sus ojos.
In every attempt to take some pictures, the frog jumped and it was almost impossible to get a clear shot. Until it ended up resting near an aloe vera plant, where my friend was able to capture some photos to show me. He told me that she was much smaller than what you can see in the pictures, and something we both liked was the intensity of the greenish color in her eyes.
A veces me pongo a pensar en la cantidad grande de persona que lastima a estos animales pensando en ellos como una plaga, es realmente triste cómo la gran mayoría suele acabar con sus vidas de maneras atroces. La vida animal no es mala, y siempre me pongo a pensar en que los animales estuvieron primero que nosotros, y que debemos respetar su entorno puesto a que quienes han invadido sus hábitats a gran magnitud es el mismo ser humano.
Sometimes I think about how many people hurt these animals thinking of them as a plague, it is really sad how most of them end their lives in atrocious ways. Animal life is not bad, and I always think that animals came before us, and that we must respect their environment because those who have invaded their habitats to a great extent is the same human being.
After having seen the photos for a long time, and at the same time that I am writing this, I can realize how amazing nature is, how it surprises us with its species, both in vegetation and animals. The human being in question should feel blessed to have the opportunity to witness on multiple occasions the miracles and incredible creations that Mother Nature puts in our environment.
Me considero gran amante de la vida animal y vegetal, todo ser vivo se ha formado con la característica predominante, sentir. Todo ser siente porque es lo que lo caracteriza de estar vivo, y cada una de las vidas existentes han de ser respetadas.
La naturaleza abarca la existencia misma, es todo aquello que nos rodea y es algo mágico, nunca deja de regalarnos nuevos hallazgos y cosas en las cuales poner el ojo para apreciarlas desde cualquier distancia. Me siento agraciada de las cosas que la madre naturaleza me da el honor de poder disfrutar, presenciar y apreciar de distintas formas.
I consider myself a great lover of animal and plant life, every living being has been formed with the predominant characteristic, to feel. Every being feels because it is what characterizes it to be alive, and each of the existing lives have to be respected.
Nature encompasses existence itself, it is everything that surrounds us and it is something magical, it never ceases to give us new discoveries and things in which to put the eye to appreciate them from any distance. I feel graced by the things that Mother Nature gives me the honor of being able to enjoy, witness and appreciate in different ways.
Finalmente, tras una charla entre mi amigo y yo, luego de que la rana tomara confianza y se acercara un poco más a él, decidimos llamarle "Frankie la rana blanca". Espero tengan un feliz inicio de semana, y que la naturaleza los siga sorprendiendo cada vez más con lo que trae para nosotros, a seguir apreciando la vida y... ¡Nos vemos en el próximo post!
Finally, after a chat between my friend and I, after the frog gained confidence and got a little closer to him, we decided to name him "Frankie the white frog". I never saw a white frog so far 🧐 .. that's a really interesting capture .. a assume uts a quire rare sights ^^
