Once a place where oats, corn, buckwheat, and wheat were ground down, is now a landmark and state park. Many go there for the wonderful sites of the old mill, then also many go for the nature view part of the area. Found there are many trails of rock climbing, cave exploring, and small waterfalls. So many different things to see and do, but not enough time in the day. The location and name of this place is Lawrence, Pennsylvania, USA and is called McConnells Mill State Park.
Here is a view of the Slippery Rock Creek, down stream it is used for white-water rafting. This is considered the "calm" area.
A little mini mushroom growing all by its lonesome.
Walking through the path and found this, here a tree opened up a new path for the life to cross this mini stream
I personally found this very, very interesting, how this tree grew on top of this ledge, with so little dirt.
Goofy me, posing on this rock with a fantastic view behind me.
An accidental awesome picture I took, but it came out so beautiful.
This, my friends, is the first waterfall, a behind view that i have here for you.
This is the same waterfall as above but in a different view, awesome isn't it?
The moment I wish I still had some repelling gear, definitely would of been fun.
Inside view of a cave I was in.
The pathway to the hiking area.
You again! Why are you following me on my adventures? Does anyone know what these little guys are?
Another cave explored.✔️
Then lastly, another beautiful waterfall. My son is sneaking behind it.
