A special place for my plants (initial phase)
Hola a todas esas personas creativas que transitan por esta comunidad, que nos permiten compartir nuestras ideas y proyectos para lucir nuestras hermosas plantas. Uno de los lugares donde más tiempo permanecemos algunos de nosotros es en nuestro hogar, una vez que formamos familia tenemos el compromiso con nosotros mismos, que sea un lugar agradable, acogedor y que nos haga sentir bien y las plantas tienen ese poder.
Hello to all those creative people who pass through this community, which allows us to share our ideas and projects to show off our beautiful plants. One of the places where some of us spend the most time is in our home, once we form a family we have a commitment to ourselves, that it is a nice, cozy place that makes us feel good and plants have that power.
Claro, en algunas ocasiones nos resultaba fácil remodelar, comprar todo lo necesario para tener lindos espacios para ellas, pues el dinero no era impedimento, pero ahora este factor juega en nuestra contra y no es fácil llegar a cumplir todas nuestra metas. Como no es la primera vez que publico por esta comunidad, quiero darles las gracias por esta ventana disponible para tal fin, esperando a su vez poder brindar con mi publicación algunas ideas que sean de su agrado, sobre todo a los que se dejan cautivar por la belleza de las plantas.
Of course, sometimes it was easy for us to remodel, buy everything we needed to have nice spaces for them, because money was not an impediment, but now this factor plays against us and it is not easy to achieve all our goals. As this is not the first time I publish for this community, I want to thank you for this window available for this purpose, hoping in turn to provide with my publication some ideas that are to your liking, especially to those who are captivated by the beauty of plants.
Soy admiradora número uno de las plantas, de allí nace está idea, de transformar una pared del porche de la casa, (que siendo sincera parecía muy descuidada), para ir poco a poco dándole vida y poder usarla para colocar a mis nuevas consentidas, cactus, suculentas y otras pequeñas plantas que sueño con verlas allí, luciendo hermosas, que las personas que visiten mi hogar se dejen atraer por lo bonito que va a lucir. Digo va, porque aún no ha sido del todo terminada.
I am an admirer number one of plants, hence this idea was born, to transform a wall of the porch of the house, (which to be honest seemed very neglected), to go little by little giving life and to use it to place my new favorites, cactus, succulents and other small plants that I dream of seeing them there, looking beautiful, that people who visit my home will be attracted by how nice it is going to look. I say it will, because it is not quite finished yet.
Por aquí les muestro el antes, la verdad que viendo el espacio así de descuidado hasta pena me da, pero bueno estamos mi esposo y yo con la mejor intención de mejorar el espacio. Como podrán ver la pared tiene algunas grietas que fueron necesarias corregir con algo de cemento, lo bueno fue que teníamos algo de esos materiales para reparar.
Here I show you the before, the truth is that seeing the space so neglected I feel sorry for it, but well my husband and I are with the best intention of improving the space. As you can see the wall has some cracks that needed to be corrected with some cement, the good thing was that we had some of those materials to repair.
Lo que sí fue necesario comprar fue la pintura y la brocha en una tienda. Estos pies de amigo, ramplug, y otras herramientas que sabíamos que serían necesarias para llevar a cabo este pequeño proyecto, como por ejemplo, el taladro, afortunadamente los adquirimos a un costo bien accesibles, ya que un amigo tenía que viajar a otro país y eso facilitó en gran manera que pudiéramos comprarlos usados pero en buen estado.
What we did need to buy was the paint and brush from a store. These friend's feet, ramplug, and other tools that we knew would be necessary to carry out this small project, such as the drill, fortunately we acquired them at a very affordable cost, since a friend had to travel to another country and that made it much easier for us to buy them used but in good condition.
Aunque la idea de remodelar la pared fue mía, mi esposo que últimamente se la pasa muy ocupado con cuestiones de su trabajo, ha estado dispuesto a regalarme algo de su tiempo para ir avanzando, por lo general lo hacemos los fines de semana. Yo trato de ser su ayudante en todo lo que puedo, aunque estoy más pendiente de tomar las fotos, para poder luego documentar la información.
Although the idea of remodeling the wall was mine, my husband, who lately has been very busy with his work, has been willing to give me some of his time to move forward, we usually do it on weekends. I try to be his assistant as much as I can, although I am more concerned with taking the photos, so that I can document the information later.
Claro, aún falta mucho trabajo por hacer, pues tenemos la idea de colocar en los compartimentos, retazos de tablas de machimbrado que en una oportunidad nos fueron obsequiados. También estamos ahorrando para pintar el resto de la pared en otro color más suave, buscando de esta manera que ese espacio resalte de manera especial. Por eso diría que este proyecto está en su fase inicial, pero siendo sincera me gusta mucho como se ve.
Of course, there is still a lot of work to be done, as we have the idea of placing in the compartments, pieces of tongue and groove boards that were once given to us as a gift. We are also saving up to paint the rest of the wall in another softer color, so that this space will stand out in a special way. So I would say that this project is in its initial phase, but to be honest I really like the way it looks.
Todo dependerá de los recursos, tiempo disponible y la creatividad que se vaya imponiendo. Pienso que en estos casos y bajos las circunstancias lo mejor es iniciar, posteriormente ir dándoles los toques que se requieran y según las posibilidades.
Everything will depend on the resources, time available and the creativity that will be imposed. I think that in these cases and under the circumstances it is best to start, then give them the touches that are required and according to the possibilities.
Por ahora me despido con la intención de haber podido despertar su interés, que puedan estar al igual que yo ansiosos por ver el resultado final, que sin duda alguna y si Dios lo permite será muy pronto. Hasta el día de hoy las cosas van así. Un abrazo y que la bendición de nuestro Padre Celestial los cubra a todos. Otra cosa que para mí es importante son sus recomendaciones o comentarios, serán bien valorados.
