When I write "up close", I mean "very close".
This topic is a bit relaxing and it will be more about your dexterity and a suitable choice of object. However, it is a competition and that is why you will perform tasks here as well:
- take a close-up photo (preferably macro)
- tell us which object you have chosen for the photo
- try to compare the detail with the whole
For a little inspiration - "the surrounding world in a drop of water" :-)
Yesterday, after a long time, I tried to take a macro. I chose an icicle as an object, which "grew" from our terrace, even though we already have Spring.
After enlarging the photo, I wanted to find out if there were any dust particles or a piece of moss in the icicle.
I was pleasantly surprised to see two drops on the PC that separated from the icicle while I pressed the trigger.
Both drops reflect the surroundings. So, in fact, even the small drop of water will fit the world around you :-)
