Quite a few years ago I was lucky enough to go to Australia. One of the places I've been is the Great barrier reef.
The Great barrier reef is a coral reef. It is located along the coast of Queensland in north-eastern Australia. It is the largest reef in the world.
I was able to take a number of photos from a semi-submarine. The quality isn't great when you compare it to today's photos. Still, it makes me happy when I see them.
I saw a turtle swim by. Unfortunately I don't have a photo of that. Luckily I really enjoyed it at the time.
Unfortunately, the reef is getting more and more damaged and parts are dying. Action will need to be taken to protect the reef. Let's hope this is done in time and effectively enough so that this natural wonder can continue to exist.
